Projek Harap

Projek Harap is a vehicle being used to eradicate poverty through education.

The 9th Malaysia Plan had the objective of extending pre-school education to ALL children between the ages of 5 and 6, by the year 2010. However, at the time of writing only a mere 42% had been achieved.

In the case of childcare centres, there is no Government programme providing for generalized access on an equitable basis. However, various projects promoted by different governmental agencies do exist, but they are far from covering the total population in need.

Projek Harap plan to setup Pre-School Centre through out Malaysia, providing quality education to those in need. They have aligned themselves with state assemblymen to ensure that the best needs of the children in each location is being met.

They are planning to setup 576 of these centres covering both east and west Malaysia.
